Transformative Teaching Cohort (TTC)
The Transformative Teaching Cohort (TTC) honors teachers who consistently empower students to take control of their own learning and CREATE pathways for others across the Chicago Public Schools district to do the same.
The Transformative Teaching Cohort (TTC) recognizes outstanding teachers across the city by honoring teachers who consistently empower students to take control of their own learning. Cohort members will form their own professional learning community and participate in monthly meetings from February – January of the following school year. Throughout their cohort experience, they will collaborate with fellow cohort members, visit each other's classrooms, and create a capstone project that will advance best practices around student agency in the Chicago Public School district. They will share their capstone projects with teachers, district leadership, and community members across Chicago at an annual celebration of teaching.
